2024 – 1st Rally Targa Sicilia<\/h1>\r\n

\r\nFrom Palermo, this first stage towards Cefalu offered a quickly winding route free of all traffic to launch the first regularity test and the first CP\/Quizz, both counting for the general classification.\r\n

\r\nAfter lunch at the charming Lo Chalet restaurant, the competitors set off to attack a monument of international motorsport from the last century: the Targa Florio, which according to the editions, could have up to 148km of winding roads.\r\n

\r\nThe glory years of this event offered a 72 kilometer circuit which we covered almost in its entirety to measure the virtuoso of the valiant drivers who left their mark on this race described as “the most difficult in the world”.\r\n

\r\nToday, the road has deteriorated due to “very relative” maintenance, which rainy weather will have made all the more difficult, with some “complicated” passages to cross due to subsidence of the roadway. and other damaged tarmac bypasses where you had to be careful!\r\n

\r\nEach participant can this evening be proud of having completed this legendary route when reaching Cefalu, a charming historic city, and ending the stage at Mangia\u2019s Pollina, overlooking the Mediterranean as far as the eye can see.\r\n
